The best way to be there for your loved ones is to take care of yourself first—if your well is empty, nobody's getting a drink.

Peace With Your Body & Food

Our work begins with learning to love yourself "as is"—perceived imperfections and all. Permanent change is only possible when it comes from a place of self-love, not self-criticism. If you're a larger than average sized person in America today, chances are you've succumbed at least a bit to the massive cultural brainwashing that you're ugly, bad, weak-willed and a host of other negatives, based solely on what the scale says.

You don't have to live with that out-of-control inner critic running the show. I can teach you how to be loving, compassionate and accepting of yourself, and how to make that attitude the basis of positive change. We just naturally want to take good care of what (and who) we love, and it's equally natural to neglect and even punish what we despise. Self-hatred is how we ended up here—self-love is the way out.

I can help you free yourself from the constant battle with yourself and from the damaging cycle of yo-yo dieting. There are reasons why you ended up here: some physical, some emotional or mental, and they all need to be addressed for change to happen and to last.

I'd love the opportunity to help you forge a loving, supportive relationship with your own body and learn how to nourish yourself in every way!
